DappleDoc Text Messaging Terms of Use

    Last revised: August 28, 2026

By opting in to or using the Text Message Service (defined below) from DappleDoc, you accept these terms. This agreement is between you and Dermsnap LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as DappleDoc. All references to “DappleDoc,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to that company.

    Definitions

“Opting In” means requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, responding to, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages.

“Text Message Service” means any arrangement in which we send one or more messages addressed to your mobile phone number, including SMS, MMS, or successor protocols.

    Consenting to text messaging

By consenting to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference. Consent is collected on the web during patient intake — see Text Message Consent for exactly how it is presented. Consent is not a condition of receiving care.

    E-sign disclosure

By agreeing to receive text messages, you also consent to the use of an electronic record to document your agreement. You may withdraw your consent to the use of the electronic record by replying STOP.

    What we send

DappleDoc operates the patient-messaging platform used by independent dermatology clinics. Messages identify the clinic you are receiving care from and relate to the care you requested: visit received, visit under review, questions from your clinician, results ready, prescription sent to your pharmacy, referral and scheduling information, and account messages such as sign-in codes and password resets. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

    Frequency of text messages

Message frequency varies. It depends on how many visits you have and how your clinician responds to them. We may send an initial message providing details about the service; after that, the number of messages you receive depends on how you use our services and whether you take steps that generate more messages from us (such as sending a HELP request).

    Costs of text messages

We do not charge you for the messages you send and receive through this service. Message and data rates may apply, so depending on your plan with your wireless or other applicable provider, you may be charged by that provider.

    Opting out of text messages

If you no longer want to receive text messages, reply to any message with STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. After you unsubscribe we may send you a single confirmation of your opt-out by text message. Reply START to resume. You may also turn text messages off in your account settings.

After you unsubscribe, we will still deliver sign-in codes and password-reset codes that you yourself request, because those codes are the only means of access to your own medical record. All other messages stop.

    Privacy of your mobile information

We only use the information you provide through this service to transmit your messages and respond to you. This includes sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in delivering mobile messages. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We reserve the right to disclose information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property. See the Text Message Privacy Notice.
